About me
Hey there!
I’m Eli. I’m a working actor, currently residing in Las Vegas.
Born & raised in the southern tier region of Upstate NY, I spent most of my early life working on Musical Theatre. In 2020, I moved across the country to pursue my BA in Stage & Screen Acting from UNLV. In that time I’ve learned how to work both onstage & in film, finding my love for both in their own unique ways.
I believe one of my best strengths is my authenticity, allowing me to play a wide variety of roles while diving deeper into what makes them relatable to the audience as well as myself. I’m a big fan of dramatic and emotional work, but also love to laugh with a good comedy at the end of the day. I love being able to tell stories.

“Eli Carlin portrays Robbie in a strong performance that is both sensitive and funny. Carlin could pass for a young Jack Black and shares some of his manic energy, which is tempered by a deeply romantic longing to find his true love, the woman he can “grow old with....”
Carlin maintains a dignity in despair and never descends into whining self-pity as Robbie constantly confronts his own romantic failures while he serenades other happy couples at their weddings. He brings out the depth and complexity of a character who is a seeming loser — a guy who lives in his grandmother’s basement and barely scrapes by as a third-rate crooner — but deserves to win the hand of his lady love.”
“The best part of this is Eli Carlin, as Brian Dowd, who deftly manages to portray an eight-year-old at the start and convincingly ages throughout the piece through both physical and vocal qualities. Carlin’s timing is damn near impeccable.”
“Carlin’s got an exceptionally controlled and beautiful voice… as good as any I’ve heard in a professional or amateur show. He tore it up, backed by the male ensemble, with “Lay All Your Love on Me. ”
